“Simmba” released on 27th December 2018 in GCC countries and on very next day in India. Within a week, this movie earns near Rs. 150 crores and song of this movie Aankh Marey is also on the lips of the people.
Simmba, the title character of the film, belongs to shivgarh from where Singham was born. Contrary to the philosophies of Singham, Simmba is a corrupt officer who lives in an immoral way. Soon a life-changing event happens which changes him and makes him choose the righteous path. This movie casts Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sulbha Arya and Vijay Patkar, with cameo roles by Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi.
This is a super hit film. Today is the 7th day of this film and earns Rs. 150 crores in the first week.

Simmba is the Hindi remake of Telugu language film “Temper”. Simmba is the film features Sangram Bhalerao (Ranveer) who falls in love with Shagun (Sara), who runs catering service near his police station. He transforms when the woman he considers his younger sister gets brutally raped and killed.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Friday, “#Simmba roars and scores at the BO… crosses Rs. 150 crores mark in week 1… Glowing word of mouth has converted into footfalls… Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr, Wed 14.49 cr, Thu 11.78 cr. Total: ₹ 150.81 cr. India biz. SUPER HIT.” The movie has earned Rs. 150 crores in India and around Rs. 200 crores bounty. Mr. Adarsh predicts that Simmba can now score Rs. 250 Crores and tweeted “#Simmba benchmarks… Crossed ₹ 50 cr: Day 3, ₹ 100 cr: Day 5, ₹ 150 cr: Day 7 With no major release today, #Simmba is sure to dominate the marketplace… ₹ 200 cr mark is definitely within reach… Can even touch ₹ 250 cr, depending on how it trends from next week (11 Jan)”.
This is the Ranveer Singh’s first collaboration with Rohit Shetty. He gave complete credit for the film’s success to the director in an interview.
