It is not hard to find people and organizations who are considerate towards the destitute and start off really well to serve them. But, only few make it happen consistently, hence forming a solid base for the selfless welfare. As you might have read in our previous posts, Dera Sacha Sauda is one such organisation. Let’s know about their recent efforts to make lives better.
26th Yaad-E-Murshid Mega Eye Checkup and Cataract Laser Eye Surgery Camp
In the holy remembrance of Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, the second spiritual master of Dera Sacha, a free Mega Eye Screening and Cataract Laser Eye Surgery Camp is organised in the Dera premises in Sirsa, Haryana from 12th to 15th December each year. This year, the 26th Mega Camp was organised successfully by Shah Satnam Ji Research & Development Foundation under the guidance of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan.
During the 4-day camp, 1234 patients were screened for eye defects out of which 123 were selected for Cataract Operations. 6684 patients got screened this year from 12th-15th Dec, 2017.
Note-worthily, all the operations were done successfully in Shah Satnam Ji Super Speciality Hospital by Specialist and Super Specialist surgeons.
Patients from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and Punjab have availed the facilities of the camp. Hundreds of youth volunteers provided selfless services to them.
Dera Sacha Sauda has been organizing this camp annually since 1992. Till date, thousands of patients have been operated successfully in 26 eye camps and their lives are filled with colorful visions of God’s creation – this beautiful world!
The organisation is a paragon of selfless service and continues to heal the destitute physically and spiritually, spreading the message of complete care, inside out! 🙂
