Reason being, a 40- day parole has been granted to Dera Guru, Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan who is followed by about 6.5 millions of people , a large part belonging to North India. This parole is now matter of the moment for large numbers of followers of Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
Baba will be staying in Barnawa Ashram, Uttar Pradesh during this period.
Family had filed an application for parole
The family of Baba Ram Rahim had filed an application to the jail authorities to grant a month-long parole for him. Owing to this application, 40 day parole has been granted to Dera Chief.

Acc to the law, a convict, who has completed a certain number of years of his imprisonment with good behavior, is allowed to remain out of the prison for 90 days in a period of one year. In year 2022, Baba has been granted 21 days in February and for a month in June. In 2021, furlough was granted by Jail Authorities to Saint Dr.Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji three times.
