drug abuse Daily Bees“Momentary pleasure is often the cause of long sufferings.” – Christoph Martin Wieland

It’s a common sight these days, especially in metro cities, youth gathered in corners and at small shops, smoking cigarettes and other drugs. With a huge culture shift, youngsters move out of homes, towns and cities, away from their parents in pursuit of education and a better life. This physical distance separates the parents from children emotionally too. Without parental guidance and in the high of this newly found freedom, youth falls prey to the momentary pleasures.

Anti Tobacco Day

World No Tobacco Day is observed on May 31st by the UN members nations, with an objective to spread awareness and offer help to the addicts.

Meditation and Spirituality expand the dimension of our mind and we realize the existence of life beyond what we see. The self-pity, the sadness which consumes our mind is overpowered by the exuberant thoughts of the self-awareness.

Lastly, some people are fortunate enough to get help from the loved ones, while there are many who go unnoticed and don’t manage to get help. The drug addicts need our actions of help more than they need our sympathy or pity.
