After continuous cases of Coronavirus worldwide, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared an international emergency of Coronavirus.

Why do we need to know about Coronavirus?

Coronavirus is a virus that can make animals and humans both sick. It is an RNA virus, which means that it breaks into cells inside a body and uses them to again lift itself. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the virus is linked to seafood and is thought to have originated from a seafood market in Wuhan city of Hubei province, China. Coronavirus belongs to the family of viruses and people are getting ill from it. The virus is also entering many animals including camels, cats, and bats, etc. The WHO has named this new Coronavirus as 2019-nCoV.

International travel has also been affected by the Coronavirus. People are afraid to go from one place to another and passenger screening is being done at every international airport. In India, the Civil Aviation Ministry also ordered seven airports including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata to screen people coming from China; so that its infection can be prevented from spreading here.

The main cause of Coronavirus is non-vegetarian food. The WHO has expressed apprehension that the virus can spread from one person to another person.

Diagnosis & Treatment of Coronavirus

The CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) has developed a laboratory test kit to detect the Coronavirus from which we can determine whether the Coronavirus is positive or negative? This kit is called CDC 2019-nCoV diagnostic panel. With this test kit, collect the patient's lower and upper respiratory specimens and then check. To get rid of the Coronavirus, no proper medicines and vaccines have been made so far. But The National Medical Products Administration of China has approved the use of an anti-viral drug for the treatment of Coronavirus whose name is Favilavir.

The drug has reportedly shown efficacy in treating 70 patients with minimal side effects. People suffering from Coronavirus are being treated with other medicines also. Officials of the US National Institute of Health NIH have said that a vaccine is being made to fight the viral pneumonia disease caused by the Coronavirus and that the vaccine can be started on humans trial in just 3 months.

China is currently trying to cure the Coronavirus of Aluvia, a drug used in the treatment of HIV. The doctor says that a person affected or infected with Coronavirus should be treated under the supervision of a specialist. It is treated like a common cold disease in which it is advised to take a lot of rest, to drink more fluids and to get a fever and sore throat medicine. Generally, you can control Coronavirus infection to a great extent by taking natural measures to reduce colds. For this, things, like using room humidifiers or bathing with hot water, can be done.

Follow these preventive measures for Flu Symptoms

It is very easy to get the flu or any other virus, especially if you have touched something or a surface that was touched by an infectious person. For any flu symptoms, you must follow preventive measures. Wash your hands several times a day; keep the nose, mouth, and eyes covered so that infection stays away. Also, wash hands after touching the door handles, phones and anything like that.

Do not take Non-veg Food

Non-veg food is also a big cause of Coronavirus. We have read above that the Coronavirus has spread in China only because of sea-food and unhygienic non-veg. It is a dangerous disease in animals that spreads by eating meat. So non-veg and eggs should not be consumed and you should keep a distance from wild animals.

If you are sick, do not move around

The greatest risk of flu and similar diseases is infection. So if you are feeling ill, it is best not to go to the office and do not roam around, take rest. Going to the office will not only make it difficult for you to work, but also increase the risk of infection to other people.

Make sure to call your doctor before going to the clinic

The Center for Disease Control says that if you feel symptoms like flu or of Coronavirus, go to the doctor immediately. However, as a preventive measure, you must inform your doctor before going to the clinic so that all employees can be prepared about the potential infection risk. If you feel ill after meeting someone who has recently returned from China, contact a doctor immediately for treatment.

Do not go to places where the infection is present

Countries around the world have implemented strict scrutiny and guidelines to prevent the spread of infection. In such a situation, you can avoid traveling to countries where the Coronavirus is spread, such as China.

Just a surgical mask is not enough

Along with this disease, many kinds of misinformation are also being spread. Many believe that the use of surgical masks may prevent the risk of infection but this is not true. The use of a medical mask may reduce the risk of this infection, but it is not a remedy. Doctors say to use only an N95 mask, which is easily available.
