A good Mental Health is the state of someone who is functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional, physiological and social behaviour in society. Mental health affects how we think, feel, behave in daily lives, in every relationship like in office, with family members, with neighbors, with relatives, etc. Mental Health plays a vital role at every stage of life from childhood to adolescence through adulthood then in old age.
Our Mental Health determines how we handle any problematic situation like stress of work, family matters or social relations. A person with positive mental health is able to recognize his or her potential, mistakes, capabilities, weaknesses, how to react on sudden problems. She or he will be in good relationship with others and keep herself or himself away from arguments or fights. He or she just wants to end all the arguments or all problems to keep a positive mindset.
A good mental health encourages a good physical health. A person with mental illness faces many types of physical problems like fatigue, self- harm. Mental problems like depression have been found to be associated with coronary heart disease.

How mental health affects the physical health?
A person with good mental health has the ability to maintain good relationships with others and he or she is good enough to complete his or her activities on a daily scale like in office, house for household chores and also for children. His or Her mental stability is strong enough to find happiness even in harsh situations. A person with not so good mental health always feels sad or low, confused, fear, worries and extreme mood swings in every situation. Mental ailments like stress, depression, anxiety severely affect a person’s daily routine. A person with high anxiety is more prone to the problem of high blood pressure. A person with tension always faces stomach problems like gas, digestion related problems, constipation or loose motions, brain hemorrhage which leads to death. It is necessary to keep balance between body and mind. But in today’s competitive world, no one seriously take care of their mental health. They only have to achieve their goals at any stake. But they do not want to keep good balance between body and mind to lead satisfactory life.
Who is at risk of getting mental health disorder?
Now the question is who is at risk? Maybe, all of us are at risk because we just want our wishes to come true at any cost. No one cares about mental health. So many people are talking about it. But are we really ready for a big change in our attitude for good. In order to outshine, our life takes the toll of migration, separation, divorces, legal matters, social matters, high pay packages and how can we forget social media selling fake happiness news, likes, etc. But when a person is not able to understand or handle his or her tensions, it may be turned into a stress then depression after that he or she may face big psychological problems.
Schizophrenia is the most common disorder that can be seen in people. It is disorder that affects the person’s ability to talk, think, feel. Schizophrenia is combination of illusion, delusion and hallicunations .
Mental Health Issues
All of us are somewhere unknowingly suffering from mental health issues. Everyone faces many problems and tensions when he or she leads a social life. Sometimes, the cause of these tensions and worries is work pressure or stress, arguments in social relations, and sometimes, the cause is personal relationships. Family issues like single parent, inheritance of family property, arguments with parents. But if mental health is good then person will cope each of this problems very easily which leads his or her life with happiness but if person is not able to deal with such basic issues, he/she may lead to mental illness like stress, depression, anxiety, etc.
Life in today’s world
Nobody in today’s scenario wants to talk about God, spirituality, meditation, goodness and humanity.
These things have been restricted to people belonging to certain brands and organizations. Books have stopped teaching children the lesson of morality instead we are learning how to survive in this cutthroat competition.The consequences to all this is a high degree of stress and a degraded mental health situation. All these types of drugs are also responsible for our bad mental health. As someone takes drugs, he or she may feel very good or can forget all tensions, stress, worries but ultimately, person’s mental health is deteriorated drastically.
So some people think that drug and alcohol consumption is only solution for all worries, tensions, stress, depression but rather it may lead a person’s life with high psychological problems as we stated in previous paragraphs.
What needs to be done for mental health?
Risk is for everyone, spared will be those who understand and are proactive for their mental health. It is a need for us to take out some time out of our daily routine for our mental health.
Doing social works and charity will bring positivity to our lives and reduce the stress which is a precursor to mental illness. We should forgive easily anyone for his or her mistake if he or she realizes because this act is good for mental health of both. One should ignore all types of arguments. Never think about drug or alcohol consumption.
Realization
Considering the harm that we do to our lives, it is high time that mankind should take the concept of mental health seriously before it is too late.

We are a spiritual country who has taught the west vegetarianism, humanity, etc. We are blessed having on this place the birth of Swami Vivekananda, Adi Shankaracharya, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and endless sages and Mahatmas who talked on peace and mental health. They talked that we can get rid of any problem by meditating. Because by meditation, we can increase our brain power and can get solution of any problem easily.
